HEAD CHEF BRITISH THE BAR AND RESTAURANT SOUTH LONDON £30,000 +

A qualified and dedicated Head chef is required for this The Bar and Restaurant within this privately owned food lead company.

This position is within a high end organisation and you will be working within a company that is privately owned and have just three high end gastro sites. The The Bar and Restaurant thrives on its reputation for traditional pub food with a contemporary twist, the right candidate must be passionate about food as this is the main focus of the business.

The Head Chef will be required to support the General Manager in all aspects of the running of this kitchen and setting up. It is essential that the Head chef has over 2 years experience at a rosette or above level; this may also be a good opportunity for a Sous Chef who is ready for the next step. The Bar and Restaurant will be very very food led and would be ideal for someone who has a passion for local producers and a flare for British Cuisine.

The Head chef must have an overall passion for the food industry and must know seasonal fresh produce.
Head chefs will be used to running all aspects of the kitchen from HACCAP, ROTAS, COSTING , FINANCIAL REPORTING AND STAFF TRAINING

This The Bar and Restaurant are searching to be local and destination venue for all food and drink lovers. The Head Chef must take pride in his work and also create and input ideas for the ever changing fresh menu.

The Salary for the Head Chef position is £30,000- 35,000 per annum
